I know everybody has been talkinging about a John Steele. Well my John Steele is from Berekeley county, Charleston, South Carolina if I am correct. Birth is in 1772, in Berekeley,Charleston, South Carolina. I was married to 1st wife ? Catherine Roche. He was from my understands is it was her 2nd husband. Not use if any kids. John's 2nd wife Lydia Guerri, married in 1746. they had 3 children, Peter Henry,born in 1750. Anne, born in1780. The children where born in Bereley county. There was a big fire in Charlston so I have not been able to find his father and mother. I was hope that maybe somebody had any information of any Steele traveling to South Carolina. They years I am figuring is between the 1700 -1722. Even if they may have made trips in this area. they could have been a Plantationer or some kind of business men.
