I am researching the Steele family geneology on my Mom's side, and all the info. we can find, is that his first name may have been "William", because that name is brought down thru the family line, as my Mom's Dad, was: Charles William Steele(Jr.) and his dad: Charles William Steele(Sr.), (and somewhere before them): Charles Bernard Steele m. Collonial Clesslie (Griffith) Steele, and then: William (Taylor) Steele who m. Mary Aveline(some research so far also suggests that maybe it was: Mary Merrith. Do any of those names sound familiar? If they do, then we may be related somehow. Let me know, as any info. would help in my quest to gather my family geneology together. Thanks for your time and effort. Laurie :)
I am looking for information on Mary Steele who was born in Ireland and married a Adam Rankin who was born 1688. It is believed that they married in the early 1700s in N Ireland or in Lancaster PA. Any information would be appreciated at sho__ho@hotmail.com (2 underscores) Thanks Benjamin _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
