Hi people -- while most of my Starnes's come from down around the NC/SC border, I have a connection to the Starnes branch in Buncombe Co, NC. There's a section up there called Starnes' Cove. I have very little except the notation that Massinda Atle Starnes (b:8/17/1810, d:3/27/1877) married Eli Glenn (b: 6/21/1812, d: 1/28/1900). Their daugher Mary Priscilla Glenn married my maternal ggf William Foster Johnston. Looking for anyone who's researched the mountain branch. I spent a little time in Asheville back in Oct but couldn't find anything. Bill Starnes
