The descendants of Shubael STEARNS, Sr. (20 Sep 1655 - 1734) & Mary UPTON (1665 - ?) were, I guess you could say, a close knit family :-) Their descendants included: (1) Shubael Stearns m. Mary Upton (2) Shubael Stearns m. Rebecca Lariby (3) Peter Stearns (or Starnes) (3) Elizabeth Stearns (3) Sarah Stearns (2)Hannah Stearns m. James Stimson (3) Eneas Stimson (3) Hannah Stimson According to the info I have Eneas Stimson married two sisters, his first cousins, Elizabeth & Sarah Stearns. I also have Peter Stearns married to a Hannah Stimson and although it would appear likely, I don't know if his wife was his first cousin and sister of Eneas. Can anyone confirm or deny whether Hannah Stimson, wife of Peter Stearns, is the same person as Hannah Stimson, daughter of James Stimson, sister of Eneas? While I'm at it, I have two dates of birth for Hannah Stimson, 22 Mar 1715 & 22 Mar 1716. Does anyone know for sure which date is correct? TIA. Season's Greetings!!
