Hey, I tho't that date was familiar. I have a Sarah Jane (Sallie) STARNES who was BORN in 1799 (Jan 30). She died Feb 8, 1874. She was married to my ggg-grandfather, Absalom David Looney (b. Mar 5, 1790/d. Dec 12, 1862). Her father was John Starnes (1776-1859) and her mother was Sarah Jane Adams (b. Craig Co., Virginia). There is a tradition that Jane Adams was the sister of John Quincy Adams, but I can't find any mention of her in the Adams family histories in the encyclopedias. Anyone have either Sarah Jane Adams or John Starnes info?
