Hi All... Okay, doing that last test message, I again received an error message back from the server that the 'webmaster@rosecity.com' is defined on about it's mail quota has been exceeded. This tells me that mail sent to the STATLER mailing list is also being sent to this address (webmaster@rosecity.com). Before the over-quota problem, any mail sent to the webmaster@rosecity.com address would get that reply note we have all come to love/hate. I checked the Statler Mailing list admin website (which I had done before), to make sure that address had not been somehow added to the list of subscribers. It is NOT a subscribed email address... SO, this means that a subscribed address is having their mail FORWARDED to the webmaster@rosecity.com address, which in turn was doing that reply message back to the list. So, who wants to fess up? :-) This is the only solution I can come up with so far that makes any sense (I hope I have described the problem well enough for everyone to understand - if not, let me know). One way to test this theory is to unsubscribe each person one at a time, and send a note to the list after each unsubscribe and see if I get the error message reply back from the webmaster@rosecity.com server... I would resubscribe the person after each test until I found the one causing the problem. This would take a lot of time/effort/etc., so I would only like to do this as a last resort... Thanks again for your patience and understanding... David Statler Statler Mailing List Admin.
