How interested are you? Bob Statler Hello All, There is news for the Statler families. We now have DNA results for the Missouri Statler family Group 14, including two that match. I have located Statler land in Antrim Township, Franklin County PA, Group 6 and put a hand drawn map on my website. I have been suprised that the DNA result show so much diversity between the different Groups. For the Statler families: Group 4 is connected to the Stettler/Stetler families. Group 6 is unique. Group 8 is connected to the Stettler/Stetler families. Group 10 is unique. Group 14 is unique. For the Stotler Families (Group 6 is unique.) Group 7 unconfirmed one unique result. Group 9 is unique. Group 11 unconfirmed one unique result. Groups 6,7 and 9 lived very close to each other in the 1770's in Washington County MD and Franklin County, PA.
