This means he was only about 14 when his father's Stephen will was probated. I looked at the Orphan Court records for Fayette County PA, to see if a guardian had been appointed but did not find anything. The point of my earlier post on this information is that Rick Toothman did an excellent job of digging up facts on this family and then not such a good job on analysis.
