Correction. The Statler you mention in Sacramento, California is my family and not the one you mentioned. He is mentioned in his Mother's will as having lived and died in the West. He left here with a group of men from our county to go seek their riches. He is the exact age mentioned in census you mentioned. We have never found where or when he died but I assume either a mining accident or from maybe a murder etc. I live in Ohio and we have quite a family here that came from Franklin Cty., Pa. Mainly Samuel Statler. We believe him to be a brother to Casper and Jacob as he is mentioned as witnesses for will.They all lived at the same place at one time.
