For many years we have been trying to solve the mystery of Fanny Charles b. 17 Jul 1810 d. 21 Dec 1878 Pequea Twp., Lancaster County, PA. married Samuel Charles 4 Nov 1827. She is listed both as Fanny Mylin and Fanny Stetler on birth records for her children. Unfortunately, the Samuel Charles farm was bordered by the Mylin farm and the Abraham Stetler farm. Neither of these families seems to have a daughter born at the right time. Are there any experts among the Statler Family who are well versed in Lancaster County, PA Statler/Stetlers? As she was only 17 when she married, it seems unlikely that she could have been a widow of either a Stetler or a Mylin. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Michael H. Charles
