Hello! I found an old article from Wednesday, October 2, 1855 in the New York Times archives about the following marriage: "On the 19th Aug., Mr. Jacob Graves to Miss Margaret Elizabeth, daughter of Jonas Statler, all of Santa Clara County" This was in with a large list of California Marriages and Deaths. Hope this may help someone... David Statler
Hello Everyone... I happened upon a listing on eBay this weekend of a photo of a Myrtle Statler from Shippensburg, PA taken by a C.A.Laughlin. Not sure if anyone can figure out who it is or who she is related to, but I thought someone might be interested in it. Here's the link to the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280164227355&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:US:11 If for some reason that link doesn't work, try this one: http://tinylink.com/?hb0hQnUluj The auction for this photo ends this Wednesday, Oct. 24th. Regards, David Statler

Hi all, sorry if I came off as rude earlier with the bounce backs. I didn't mean for them to unsubscribe, I was just trying to get them to fix their autoreply so it wasn't spamming all of us. The curse of email lists I guess. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Take the Internet to Go: Yahoo!Go puts the Internet in your pocket: mail, news, photos & more. http://mobile.yahoo.com/go?refer=1GNXIC

Sorry for the inconvenience. We have unsubscribed to the list so hopefully you will not hear from us again. If so, please do not respond. We are getting as many emails from you as you are from us with the same useless information. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ron & Connie Stateler" <stateler@joink.com> To: <statler@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, October 04, 2007 12:02 AM Subject: Re: [STATLER] The Statelers have received your message. Dear Jean, We are not sending these messages. They are being sent through statler@rootsweb.com which is a computer generated site for genealogy. Our computer is set up to respond to any incoming message that we have received it. I guess you need to unsubscribe to the list to stop the messages. We are getting numerous ones ourselves. The message indicated in the 2 messages now (4 copies received...soon to be 5 when I press send) is called an auto reply or out of office message. The Stateler@joink family have their account set up so that every time they receive an email message from a unique user, it will send out a reply saying they've received the message. Unfortunately there isn't a way to get it to stop without the family realizing that they need to create a rule to not send to the replies to emails addressed to statler@rootsweb.com (hinthint). - Brandy Statler Long --- Jean Gulke <mjgetc@yahoo.com> wrote: > Why are you sending me this message?
