The EC sends out requests for updates quarterly, I haven't gotten a call for the 4th quarter by the way, Anyway, when we submit our personnel changes to the data that is returned to the EC, which is one of your sub committees. do they not send you the changes especially when it pertains to the adding or removal of an SC or ASC? Those are the two positions that are always posted on the website and should be updated accordingly. As an SC, it is our responsibility to submit to you any changes in our staffing so they can either be added or removed from the SC list so in turn don't those changes get sent to the Webmaster to make the necessary changes? I see two ways that you should be made aware of changes in the states, but that website has been outdated for a long time. Since before elections. Gail, Yes, the EC gets updates from the SCs but that is for the EC's business and does not comply with the requirement that the State Coordinator notify the National Coordinator of changes in the state's SC or ASC(s). Before the new person is subbed to the mail list with posting permissions and updates are made to the State Coordinator's page, they must provide the required info of their postal address and phone numbers for the records. Until that info is received, they won't be subbed to the list and the page won't be updated, whether the state recognizes them as leadership or not. It's the NC's and the AB's responsibility to ensure that the bylaws and the Standard Rules are followed. Not updating the State Coodinator's page until that info is received is the easiest way to ensure that the requirement is met.
