My read is that Isaiah is in a run-off election with Tim and that raising the soliciting issue might hurt Isaiah's campaign. I believe we have all managed to discuss the soliciting issue without turning it into a campaign issue. Good for us! And... a sign that we are not into petty bickering. Vicki, since the end of July, there has been *no campaigning*. The only races left up in the air are runoffs. And I believe that voting on them ended this week. I know what it is. Those of us who disagree with the NC and raise issues are running a smear campaign against him and that was what you meant by campaigning, right? I now understand. I forgot my place. How dare I have feelings on an issue that are not the same as the NC's and yours! Remember this if you remember nothing else I ever say: the only speech that is legally protected is the speech with which you disagree and do not want to hear. That's right.
