I hesitate to forward this, as I am not sure that Roger is on this list. But he does speak for the Bylaws Revision Committee, and half of the members of that committee (6 + 1 NC ex officio) are candidates in the election this year. I can only assume that the candidates approve of taking the vote away from some of our CCs because they are listed as assistant CCs instead of CC or Co-CC, or because they are the third CC for that county (or the third ASC, for that matter) At any rate, I would like to hear from the candidates that are also members of the BRC if they approve of this change. I have already voted, so I can't change my vote. Maybe the list-admin of USGenWeb-Discuss could open this up for discussion on that list. Hopefully, the candidates are all on that list. I can read it thru archiver. Without limits there is too much potential for abuse of the election process. The XXGenWebs will still be free to provide voting privileges to as many persons as the members of the state deem fit. This is NOT the proper list for posting genealogical research queries.
