    3. I had a similar problem this last month. I e-mailed accounts@Rootsweb.com and waited a couple of weeks with no reply. I then sent an e-mail to Webmaster@Rootsweb.com and received a response within a day or two. I was originally told that I could not use the prior abandoned URL, however, a week later when I received my account and password information it was for the old account. There's definitely more lag time that I would expect from the accounts department. I guess the moral of the story is to e-mail the Webmaster! Worked for me.
