    3. Generally speaking, lurking is best......<grin>. It my usual modus operandi! Once in a great while I can't resist passing along an opinion - I have no idea what comes over me. It isn't even a full moon or anything. I just wanted the SC's, as a group, to know that while describing the duties of the CC they might also want to declare "boldly" the duties/rights of the SC... I suggested mediation only because I don't want to hear a grievance by a CC who didn't understand that the SC isn't an advisory position... Use the word, foreman, president, leader, anything to convey the power of that position... (I'm not attempting to use negatative words here... there are responsibilities for the SC's that are little understood by the average CC) Obviously if the new CC isn't interested in working with the SC etc. etc. then the SC has every right to delink the person.. I would be happier, (as an AB member) if the SC can show they tried to work with the CC, that the CC was fully informed of all rules and regulations, and the CC didn't make any effort to change their behavior... I do agree with David... better to just get a new website and obtain/harvest the county info from the previous CC. Now goin' back to lurking.... From what I can gather, she wasn't notified the cc for the county was leaving nor that the account was going to be turned over to someone else. She has tried to contact the person who now has the account/webpage with no result and the person has unsubbed when she subbed him to a required mail list. I would seriously wonder if the person wants that account to be a part of the state project and consider finding someone else to put up a county site in a different account. The account is in the name of the account-holder, not the state project, and we can't consider that account as 'ours'.
