Hi everyone, I have a question about a post that was made through a QueryExpress query form and wonder if any of you have set any kind of a policy on this, or have any reservations at all. A professional genealogist posted a query for a client looking for that client's ancestors. She included a link to her own webpage. I'm of two minds about it. She was up front about the fact that she is getting paid for researching for someone else and is looking for information on a specific individual. On the other hand, by including her webpage she is also 'advertising' her services. Should this be posted? Should it be posted but without the webpage? Should I even be wondering about it in the first place? Have any of you come up with this situation, and what did you decide to do about it? Connie
I would post it without the link.Just my personal opinion. --- Connie Snyder <cjsnyder@alltel.net> wrote: > Hi everyone, > > I have a question about a post that was made through > a QueryExpress query form > and wonder if any of you have set any kind of a > policy on this, or have any > reservations at all. > > A professional genealogist posted a query for a > client looking for that client's > ancestors.
