    3. To All USGenWeb Members - As of this morning, June 9, 2003, the Election Committee has received a total of 110 nominations since the nomination period opened, June 2, 2003. Nominee names and status during processing are located here: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgwelections/nominee.htm The nominee pages are updated frequently, usually at least twice a day. The nomination period will continue until Monday June 16, 2003, 8:00 am EST (7:00 am CT). Nominations submitted after that date/time will not be accepted. Each nominee has two days to respond, either accepting or declining a nomination. Also as of this morning, there are a total of 23 verified candidates. Candidate names, with links to Campaign Pages (when available), are located here: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgwelections/candidate.htm If you are a candidate and have constructed a Campaign Page, please notify the Election Committee so we can provide a link to it.
