    1. Re: [STATE-COORD-L] Link requirement on National pages

    3. We have this on our suggestions for following the usgenweb guidelines within our state project: "The USGenWeb Project requires a pointer to our State page. That can be to either the main NEGenWeb Project page or to the NEGenWeb Project County Site List. Links to both pages are a good idea, as the main page offers the researchers more places to look for Nebraska information." Our guideline has read that way for some time. I think the national guideline may have read differently when I first came on board. A few years ago when I was getting ready for our annual sweep of county sites and checked the guidelines again, I was surprised that they read this way. The main state page is where researchers should be pointed. If the county selection list is a separate page there will be a link to it from the main state page. Just who decides what goes into the guidelines? I don't remember them being updated along the way, but may have missed it.
