Our annual election is just around the corner, and a majority of the EC positions are being vacated as long time volunteers are moving on or retiring. We need several volunteers to fill the vacant positions on the Election Committee. Any member of the project eligible to vote is eligible for membership in the EC, the exception being members of the Advisory Board. Please consider volunteering to the Election Committee. The EC is an interesting and very friendly group; and next to maintaining your individual web sites, the work you will do with this committee is one of the most important and necessary jobs in the USGenWeb. The EC is charged with conducting the National Election each summer, but also conducts appropriate polls and SC elections upon request, as well as maintaining the member and voter registration lists.
