    3. It has been a long time coming, but the EC is VERY happy to announce that we are now ready to start opening the EC dataset (Oversight) for use by Project Coordinators so you can check your membership list at any time, and update it yourself. I will be sending Oversight passwords to each of you individually, but there are more than a hundred State, Archive, and Special Project positions that I will have to correlate by individual, so it will probably take a few weeks before I am able to notify everyone. Watch for an email with Subject: Oversight Access. Oversight passwords are assigned and will NOT BE THE SAME as a password you might have set as a user of the registration system. Please keep it safe :) If you coordinate more than one project, the password should give you access to the membership report for each of the projects you coordinate. When you get your password, please try it out and let me know if any of your projects are not listed. The password email will contain a link to the instructions, but you can preview all of the things you will soon be able to do at <http://usgenweb.org/usgwelections/ec-manual/003a-os4all.html> Pat Asher EC DM

Oversight Access for Project Coordinators is new to everyone. I've been working with the new software for several years, but giving 100+ PCs access has created some new dynamics, and the software itself is new to all of you. Long term, I think you all will like it as much as the EC does, but there will be a learning curve. I've tried to make the instructions at <http://usgenweb.org/usgwelections/ec-manual/003a-os4all.html> as comprehensive as possible and anticipate questions by you all as first time users, but please feel free to ask about anything you don't understand.
