Over the last few days there has been much discussion on the USGenWeb-Discuss list about the viability of an "Announce only" list for *all* USGenWeb Project members to be mandatorily subscribed to. This list would be used for Project-wide announcements by the Advisory Board, Election Committee and potentially other Standing and Special Committee announcements in the future. I have taken the liberty of contacting the programmer of our Election software and have ascertained that the list-serve function is in place in place for us. He is working in conjunction with me and our Election Chair to work out the next steps to subscribe our members. Tina
