Laverne, If you will not listen to what Tina and Sherrie are telling you...please listen to me. First, no RootsWeb lists have been working due to an attack that shut the lists down (amongst other areas of Ancestry/RootsWeb). Next, if you had been unsubbed, The RootsWeb system would have automatically generated message that would have gone to you only. Unless the Coordinators have set the mail list to receive a notification of anyone subscribing or un-subscribing. I have set the mail lists that I admin to send me notifications. So if you have not received an unsubscribe notice that you can forward to this list, then please, drop the subject. You are not making yourself look like the wonderful, understanding and hard-working person that I know you are. Many of the KSGenWeb pages have been hosted on the state library Skyways server since early in the project. Those pages are in the process of being moved to a new server with the Kansas State Historical Society. They may be unavailable for a few days as this transition takes place. Will let you know the new URL as soon as it is available. Tom & Carolyn Ward KSGenWeb State Co-ordinators
Tom and Carolyn, Is this transition happening now? The link on our national page brings up a URL not found. http://www.kumc.edu/skyways-disable/ Would you please let me know what the new url for KSGenWeb Project is so that the National pages can be updated. Thanks very much! If this was originally posted on June 30, why wait almost a month to check on this? Just wondering. I was contacted by a researcher about it and was investigating their question.
