We attended the FGS meeting and had a booth there at the beginning of May a couple of years ago. It was 85 degrees the first day and snowed the rest of the week. We drove home to Los Angeles in white-out conditions nearly the entire length of the state. don't assume! The family's wishes were communicated to Gail and Jan Bony. They have service planned on Aug 31st and it will not be through the funeral home. W. The first time anyone knew of his passing was from Rootsweb Gerhard himself. He got word from the family and notified a few before transferring the mailing lists accounts to others. ORGenWeb has Washington County OR account now. W. David Samuelsen On 8/26/2012 2:38 PM, Betsy wrote: > Well, I know some AB members have posted messages > to the family. Betsy, I am the person who posted it here and DISCUSS. Don worked with many, many people over the years who deserve to know that he is no longer with us. I'd hardly call something posted on Facebook as something intended to be kept private. Don't ever accuse me of posting something about someones death as "for show". Nothing could be further from the truth and I consider your response a personal attack. You don't know me and I am sorry that you are so caught up in this projects politics that you believe everything that is posted by certain people has an underlying intent. Go for it. I am sick of all the negative posts, too. I posted because there was a suggestion that because people didn't post their condolences for Don Kelly to this list, that no one cared. I cared and still do. I saw other people who posted after me that cared. This is not politics. I don't do politics anymore for this very reason. You can't care about anyone without someone ascribing ulterior motives to it. I care about you, Jan. We were friends and I still consider you one. If you don't consider me one, that is your loss not mine. My circle is big enough to take you in no matter what size yours is. I do genealogy. I care. You and Linda need to quit trying to tell me how I feel or why I do something. You don't know . . . obviously! Betsy

ROTFLMHO - You are so funny. I answered Jan. I attacked NO ONE. I'm so sorry that no one can post an opposing opinion on this list without someone taking it as a personal attack. I NEVER post to this list without someone attacking me. This has NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS. It has to do with accusations that people don't care because they don't post messages publicly. I cared deeply about Don Kelly, but that is none of your business or anyone else's. Get over yourself. Betsy At 04:37 PM 8/26/2012, you wrote: >Betsy, I am the person who posted it here and >DISCUSS.
