    3. I really do try to keep my mouth shut unless somebody makes me open it. This is one case where I absolutely must open it. I owe it to Nancy. We all owe a lot to Nancy. Through thick, thin and all kinds of trials and tribulations, since I joined KYGenWeb back in early 1997, Nancy Trice has always stood head and shoulders above the rest of us volunteers as a beacon of stability and a force to be reckoned with. I have not always have agreed with her, but I have always held Nancy up where few others in this project belong. She has been, by far, the longest serving SC in the FIRST USGenWeb state project, KYGenWeb, and in fact the only other one was our projects founder, the late Jeff Murphy, who lasted only a few months. The entire USGenWeb project owes Nancy a massive debt for all of the hard work and sheer force of will with which she has helped build it up from a twinkle in Jeff's eye into the project it is today. Not to say that there are not others, but without her, this project would not be near as good as it is. Another person whose will helped shape KYGenWeb and USGenWeb is our own Holly Timm. These two women, along with the recently retired Betty Sellers formed a triumvirate the likes of which we will likely never see again in this project. Although there were many bumps in the road along the way, they often bulldozed the bumps and made things work. I am saddened to see Holly go as the National Coordinator. She has been a stabilizing force at the top of the project when it most needed one, and things were most in disarray. I don't ever want to see us return to the bickering and backstabbing that came before her. If the USGenWeb ever decides to have a coordinator "Hall of Fame" by which to remember these and other of the early coordinators, these two should both be among the first to be in it. Nobody deserves it more. We owe you both. Lots of people have come and gone, but you have stuck with it. Thank you! Then list who they want to vote for. Larry will record their vote and cancel their password. That's all there is to it. Will you please pass it along to whoever needs to know? Linda Davenport EC

    3. Linda, I was going to contact you privately with this question, then thought that others may have the same problem...... Many of our volunteers were attending our Meet & Greet in Nebraska when the election results were announced, and this question came up. A few of our people are on vacation for the next two weeks while they make their way back home to various locations around the country. If they will not be home before the end of the election but will be able to access their email and get their new passwords and voting information, will they be able to vote from someone else's computer with that information? (We have one on vacation in Germany until later in the month but she will have access to her email sporadically while there, I think.) Can they vote by email, instead of the webpage? Connie
