    2. Mike Jarvis
    3. I'm said to report the death of Mary Beth Fay, County Coordinator, for Coconino and Mohave counties within the AZGenWeb project. Mary Beth was also doing census information for Marathon County, Wisconsin. She has been wonderful to work with and will be greatly missed. We are preparing a memorial page for her and will let you know when the link is available. Mike Jarvis AZGenWeb

    1. [STATE-COORD-L] Birth & death registrations
    2. Nancy T R I C E
    3. Hi all... I have put together a page for Ky Researchers showing when vital registrations began for all states. I have included a column for comments... for instance, Ky tried registration several times in the 1800s and those records have been microfilmed and in some cases are online or have been published by a Gen. Soc. etc. I've included this info and provided links to pages where they can obtain the address or URL for the various sources provided. I would very much like to include the same information for the other states in order to make this a valuable website for everyone. I would greatly appreciate it if everyone would send me a paragraph with like information for your state, including the relevent links etc, to add to the page. http://www.kygenweb.net/vitals/registration-dates.html I have not yet announced the page, hoping that I'll get the same information from all of you first. Thanks everyone! nt There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".

    3. Thank you, Sandy! MI is in a region that until yesterday was unattended for a couple of months. Effective only this morning, Jan Cortez <cristian@netonecom.net> will be handling your state. I'm sure you'll be hearing from her fairly soon. May take her a few days to get into gear. Appreciate the heads up. :-) Ellen At 07:23 AM 1/21/2003 -0500, you wrote: >An updated voting list for Michigan was sent quite some time ago (after >the Nov. date listed at >http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgwelections/2002stateslist.html). > >For the EC's information, a current list of volunteers is always available at >http://www.rootsweb.com/~migenweb/county_list.htm > >Regards, >Sandy > > >-- >Sandy Redmond >State Coordinator, MIGenWeb >http://www.rootsweb.com/~migenweb >County Coordinator, Calhoun County MIGenWeb >http://www.rootsweb.com/~micalhou > > >

Duties of the Subcommittee 2. The EC shall be responsible for maintaining current voter rolls. Lists of voters and email addresses shall be kept up-to-date on a quarterly basis. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgwelections/guidelines.html The SC is contacted, and a request is made to send in changes, corrections, etc. I would like to urge all SCs to please help us out! In cases where the SC doesn't respond, our EC members have to go to the state and county pages, and attempt to manually harvest names. If it's difficult for a SC to maintain one state list, please think about our hard-working members who must maintain 8-10 lists. :-) Let me add that I cannot personally verify that the status sheet as you see it this minute is totally accurate. I'm a relatively new Chair, and we have several new members, two just seated yesterday. The term of this EC began officially 1 January. We're just settling in and getting organized. To all of you who help us out, thanks! You have our undying gratitude. :-) Ellen Chair, EC SC MSGW
