    3. ************ Please share with other lists ********************** The hacker that has played havoc with the USGenWeb National site and some of the other Project sites is still at it. We thought we'd tracked down all of the files, but we seem to have missed at least one. Please let your Project volunteers know of the problem and urge caution. When we have things under control, I'll let everyone know. Thanks, Sherri Bradley National Coordinator USGenWeb Project http://usgenweb.org

    1. [STATE-COORD] Hacker Status
    2. Sherri
    3. The National site at http://usgenweb.org is clean. As of right now, the hacker and his nefarious code has been banished from the WIGenWeb site's index page. We're continuing to check other files in the WIGenWeb Project site. All of the sites that we've found infected have been hosted at http://theusgenweb.org. However, not all sites hosted at http://theusgenweb.org have been affected. Sites hosted on other accounts at IX have not been affected, so it's not an issue with the hosting service itself. We'll continue monitoring and checking sites. I've got an unexpected visitor in the form of my 3-yr old grandson today and most likely tonight. They're thinking my daughter-in-law (his mother) may have appendicitis so Nana's keeping him in case they have to make a quick trip to the ER. Right now, we're getting ready to go outside and blow bubbles. <g> Sherri
