Some of their relatives might have gone to Texas. My George Washington Starr was left an orphan at a young age.,and he lived with his sister Mary and her husband Greenberry Stuart. Tradition has it that he was unhappy with the sistuation and ran away to MO. with his brother William. The story goes that he became a rider of a sort of Pony Express out of St, Joseph, MO. Also, my aunt has written in this years christmas card;We have a cousin one of Uncle Wm. Starrs sons' daughter living up in Nevada. Vernon co,.Mo next to Kansas Border was one living here in El Dorado. She passed away 10 yrs ago. El Dorado Springs is about 50-80 miles I think due east in Daded co.
