Hi Lynette, I'm Neal Shrum, Grandma was Rose Ann Starr out of Arkansas, she was born 1863 or 1864, or 1867 not sure in KY. as were her parents or so my sources say! she married Walter Jeremiah Alexander Shrum in 1886 at Carrollton in Carroll Co. AR. and they sired Edgar Garfield Shrum in 1895 at Greenforrest , AR. Who was my Dad .Never found a single other STARR connection besides sort of's or could of's as far as links to her ! Siblings for her listed as > Milly,Betty,Samp,Brawney. But never have been able to conclude by any source other than written down at home, that these folks were or were not her siblings, and I have found MANY Rose Starr's in my searching that match age wise, and some match as to location ! I guess she wanted her family to be unknown, and well she has succeeded in her wishes! But hey I like your input here ! I love reading all these little stories, and looking through these entries !
