Well, di... I have the same problem... the standstill one. My standstill goes back to Joseph Starr Crane who married in Baltimore in 1808. I can't find his mom or dad, and his place of birth eludes me... NJ, MD or who knows. One thing genealogy does teach you is patience! I wish you all success! Diane
