I am looking for information on the family of James Hyatt STOEHR/STARR who was born in NYC 14 Nov 1819 and was the son of Thomas STOEHR/STARR and Mary LEVINESS (?) James died 7 DEC 1896 on Staten Island, NY. I Believe that his father came to the US from Germany but have no corroborating evidence.
