Renee--this is truly a list for all Starrs. It's just that some of us are more "vocal" than the rest of you. Most of us have just recently found each other (because of this list) and are just really excited to share what we have with each other. Thank you all out there for your patience. Many of our communications with each other are not on this list so we don't bombard the rest of you too badly. But we do keep a lot on the list so we can pick up new people who are also in our lines and new information--which we do occasionally. Hang in there, there are many more Starr families out there than just ours. :o) I've learned that there are quite a few of you on the list that have German Starrs or Stoehrs. I really enjoy research in Germany. Even learning Old German Script so you can read the parish registers is an experience. Renee, I'm assuming that you have already found your Wisconsin Starrs on the US Census records. There should be several years covered with them on it since they died in the 1900's. Do you know where in Germany your Joseph came from? If you do there are a lot of records available in the LDS Family History Center on fiche and film that can be of help to you. I don't know where you live, but if you are near one of the larger FHCs there are people there who can give you a lot of help in finding more on them. Even at the smaller ones sometimes there are very qualified people there to help you. Good luck.
