I can trace my Starr lineage starting with my mother as follows: Alma Starr Howard Leon Starr b. 7/17/1891 Wallace Starr b. 10/28/1848 Roswell Starr b. 5/6/1804 Col. Roswell Starr b. abt 1767 Col. Roswell Starr was married to Lois Hawks in 1799. All resided in upstate New York in Warren, Herkimer Co., Medina, Orleans Co., and Richfield Springs, Otsego Co. I can not trace my Starr line back further than Col. Roswell Starr. There is information concerning other Starr's in the upstate NY area but I haven't been able to make the connection. One line I have seen includes Orange and Hannah Starr who were the parents of Floyd. I believe this line traces back to the Comfort Starr family. Anyone having further information on Col.
