The only thing that I have is a deposition that my gr-gr-grandmother signed that states "my father was Lewis Starr and my mother was Mary Reeves; my grandfather was James Starr and my grandmother was Sarah Trammell". Sarah was either 1/2 or 1/4 Cherokee Indian. I estimate that James and Sarah Trammell Starr were born 1735-1765 and married either in Ohio or eastern Tennessee. Lewis and Mary Reeves Starr were enumerated in the 1830,1840, and 1850 TN census, Warren and Cannon County. Chuck Tinsley ltinsley@ipa.net
