    3. Thanks to you all for your input about my question on Henry Starr. I'd still like to find out more about him. Diana, the reason I put Mary Lee as wife of Henry comes from the information that Lynette shared with us from Calidonia Starr. In it Calidonia said that she was a descendant of Andrew Hamilton Starr ("my grandfather" she wrote); Andrew's father was Adam ("my g-grandfather"); Adam and his sister Eve were "born to Henry Starr and Mary Lee, who was a Cherokee girl". She also has listed the children of Adam and Hannah and another list with these children and who they married. There isn't a Henry mentioned on either list. There was no Fletcher mentioned either, and we have him on the 1850 census as a 1 yr old. I know that you told me that Henry and Fletcher are the same person. Do we have something to show that? Also his marriage information? Could he possibly have died before he was old enough to marry? Calidonia continues at the end of the material, "Written by Callie Starr, Cail. Parts which were copied from family record of my mother Martha Dorinda Gallaway Starr and from my Grandmother Charity M. Tally Starr." Martha was married to Andrew H the son of Andrew Hamilton. Charity was married to Andrew Hamilton ("they are my grandparents" said Calidonia.) I know that there is also a list given on the same material that has 9 generations back starting with Adam Starr. These are questionable because it puts them all in a period of about 142 years--an average age of 15.5 for each to have been fathers. This is the list on which Calidonia has, "Henry and Mary Lee (Cherokee) (he is my gg-grandpa)". I have also seen on this Starr list that Henry, the (possible) father of Adam, was married to a Catherine Wells. Is there someone who can tell me where that information came from? So you see my confusion. Maybe all of you can help me straighten it all out. Thanks, Crystal
