    1. Re: STARR-D Digest V00 #67
    2. I have some handwritten info given to me by a relative and she doesn't even know where it came from or from whom, but it lists some Starr's beginning with Comfort Starr in 1635 in Boston. From these notes, I can't exactly trace our Starrs (Josuah Starr, Starrville, Smith County, Texas born 1811)back to him. Josuah came to Texas from Wilkes County Georgia in 1852. He was a methodist minister as was his brother William Henry Starr. There are also a lot a Starrs in this area of Texas and Oklahoma who are Indians and part of the infamous outlaws named Starr. I think there is probably some relation because most of the Indians came from Alabama and Georgia in the Trail of Tears, but I don't think my line is Indian. I would be interested in this book and also would like to acquire any files from anyone with info on Starrs. Would it be possible to get a xerox from anyone? Of course, I would pay any costs.
