Hello fellow Star(r) researchers, I'm finding this data frustrating I have a Mose and a Moses Shrum in my tree and (LATER) one of their family married a Star(r) my Grandma Rose aka; Rosie,Rose A., Roseann. She was born (depending on where ya look > 1863 or 1867 (this descripancy) appears to be one of those "She married a younger man and fudhged on dates to save face things". Her siblings were (mind you; these MAY be nicknames?) Brawney,Samp,Milly, Betty ! Her parents are unknown to me??? But the Census has her as being from KY as well as her parents. This is all I have except her pertant "lifes data"; from AFTER her marriage; to my Grandpa >> Walter "Jerry" Jeremiah Alexander Shrum. At Carrollton at Carroll County Arkansas on 4/27/1886 < that's the one thing I'AM SURE OF> as I have copy of marriage certificate! IF mind you there is CHEROKEE BLOOD in her tree and with that" STARR ",surnsame well she may have had to FABRICATE data to SURVIVE the death penalty from the tribe's order For Starr's! Not to mention the USA Government's "ROUNDUP" efforts for/on ,Indian peoples notably, Cherokee's in the same areas, she was in. I know my Dad b: 1895 lived in Indian Territory (Arkansas) now part of Oklahoma.
