YOU got it sweetheart! My "middle step son" Niocholas "the troubled/troublesome one" well he wound up in jail for new years! I talked to acquaintances I trust one had similar deal with his son, and said a "defered sentence" is a way! we discussed that, and it sounds good to me! Barb. never wanted him to go to jail HELL what mom would! LOL! So she claim ed trying to PUT HIM in some "boot camp" for bad boys or a "treatment" program would NOT work, I agree as we discussed> you have to WANT TO do that sort of thing or no one can make you do it! So a deffered sentence the way my friend laid it out is like this " you get a option of PAYING $, and he has no job to prove he could pay in a time pay situation, plus they NOW know he has no license or insurance(since he is captive and under their scrutaney(sp) so that leaves BAIL BOND, again he has no job, who in their right mind would give a guy with NO $$$, and no job a bail bomd, so that leaves Mom & Dad to pay $$$ the proper response to that from US would be easy "NO" so he can get his little butt out with the deferred sentence, it would be HIS CHOICE, right?. makes sense to ME! I suppose he would have to meet their guidlines or immediatly be in "VIOLATION OF THE AGREED UPON CRITERIA" and that would mean re-incarceration, and he'de have to SERVE the time! OUCH! EH? I hope we can get this (frankly:"pain in the arse" young man) straightened iut this way! Even MOM says I can not afford to pay $$$$ to keep on getting his arse out of jail etc... so this is it! I doubt if they will like let him out on his own recognisense ! I guess he assualted cop, tried to run or ? had pot on him, and paraphenalia too, and a warrant for ???? and the origional charge of ? maybe public drunk??? OH HAPPY DAY huh? we will work it out Monday, I know how awful jail IS ! and I'm pretty sure this young man is pretty clueless about legal stuff etc... so if we recommend a "court appointed lawyer to him, maybe they will do this on their own FOR HIM? I told Barb. WE should get a lawyer on a retainer to do the necessary stuff to get him on a deferred deal! I have to go to the arrainment Monday @ 3:00 pm so will let you know, whats up! sorry to drop this on YOU! But we are family, and I need to let this out to vent my feelings on this ! I'm almost GLAD this happened because he thought we were full of it, wanting him in school, and thought his part time jobs without any responsibilty shown was JUIST FINE for his life! OOPS!
