My father, James C. Starr (formerly of E. Hartford, CT) was born 3/22/1945 (deceased 9/25/1997) to William Starr and Ruth Strumberg Starr (deceased) of Glastonbury, CT. He never met his father, who left the family to pursue a musical career in the Chicago area (or so we're told). William Starr was raised by a woman, Dr. Warner (deceased), who claimed to have found the infant on her doorstep. It was never made clear how she came by the "Starr" surname. Dr. Warner may have lived in Southern Massachussetts, but is buried in Manchester, CT. Unfortunately, I have no access to more information on any of these people and all are deceased. There's not much information to go on, but if anyone has information concerning any of these individuals or possible links to them, I'd love to unravel the mystery. Thank you!
