This is the list to be on for Starr information. I was only making a suggestion. I too enjoy reading everyones input. I also have a MYFAMILY.COM site. If anyone wishes to be a part of it please let me know. I would be more than happy to invite them. I find that there is only one or two in a family that is interested in geneaology. If you would like to see or even download and print out a copy of land patents for Adam Starr in Missouri (and others) for free, go to <www.glorecords.blm.gov>; type in your postal zip code; select Missouri; type in the first and last name of the person you're looking for a land patent for. When it comes up with the "search results" page, click on the one that you want to see. You can order it if you want (which has a fee to pay), or just download it by clicking on "view document". It will then come onscreen and you can print it. Use the "options" button in the print screen to select "print to fit page" and it will do so. Otherwise it will be so huge you will only get a piece of it on your printer. There are a number of states included in this site including Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, and others.
