Subject: TEXAS STANTONS Am reseaching my husband's line which was around the Eastland County, TX area in 1800's. Would like to contact others researching that line. Our earliest is: James Stanton, b: 15 May 1854 - we were told in PA. He died in Cisco, Eastland Co, TX in 12 Nov 1906 & was marriet to a Martha Jane "Mattie" Stuart - they married on 21 Jul 1878 Eastland Co, TX. I have family group sheets from them to us & will share.
