My most recent Stanton ancestors are noted on pages 540-541 of the Thomas Stanton book. On page 542, X. George B., bo Jan 3, 1836, married Alpha Bisbee. George is my greatgreat grandfather. I have pictures of his grave and of Alpha's from a cemetary near Hopbottom, Susquehanna Pa. George and Alpha had Frank and Fannie. Alpha died young and George remarried an Orvilla GORMAN. Frank was born in 1865. He married Emma PETERs in 1894 in Scranton, Pa. They had Eugene Thornley, George, Robert James and Frances. They moved to Clarks Summitt by 1920. Eugene had one son--Gene. I am not sure about George and Frances. Robert is my grandfather and he married Helen SPERRY in 1937. They had 2 daughters: JoAnne and Roberta (Bobbi). They lived in Clarks Summit. Anybody researching these lines? I would be most interested to find out what happened to Fannie STANTON b.~1867 or so in Susquehanna County. Rebecca Stanton Hyde RHyde530@msn.com
