Clare I am a new subscriber, and saw this message. I assume you are talking about the book, "Thomas Stanton of CT and his Descendants". He married Anna Lord. The book is a treasure of genealogy info. Written in 1891 by William A. Stanton, it has most descendants of Thomas up through that time. For example my own grandfather is listed in the book. If you know the birth date of an ancestor prior to 1890 the person may well be listed in the book. There is also a website for the Thomas Stanton Society. You may find that of interest.
