Stanton Family Researchers: I am looking for anybody researching Sarah Ann STANTON born Nov 23, 1805 (prob. Charlestown RI). Sara Ann married George C BROWN and lived in Charlestown RI and Stonington CT. She was the daughter of Samuel Stanton of Charlestown RI who married Elizabeth REYNOLDS and of course she traces back to Thomas Stanton of Stonington. My g grandmother, Sarah Anna THOMPSON was a housekeeper for George Brown and Sarah Ann(a?) Stanton, according to the 1860 census. I believe that Sarah Anna Thompson was probably named after Sarah Ann Stanton since the Thompsons had lived in Charlestown and Stonington and Sarah Anna Thompson was quite young when she was keeping house for the Browns. The Thompsons were also connected closely to the Reynolds family and Brown family as well. Does anybody have Sarah Ann Stanton as an ancestor?
