Karin, Thanks for the update. William Henry Stanton did not have the benefit of all the tools we do today. I think he did a wondrous job with what he had available. I consider my self the "keeper of the keys" when it comes to "Our Ancestors the Stantons." I am in the process of scanning the book and bringing it online. If it is all right with you, I would like to make reference to your letter and also the documents you have to back it up, and include it with the book on my site. If you would like to include a more publication ready version of your request, it would make my job a lot easier. I'm sure William would approve of any corrections to his work. I would hate to be responsible for helping spread an error in Robert's descendancy. If anyone else knows of any errors in the book, I would appreciate knowing of them. To consider an update to the work, I would need reliable proof as Karin has offered.
