I think you are working on a descendant of Robert Stanton of Newport RI. The Thomas Stanton book has only two descendants of Thomas with the name of Job - both born in the 1800s. It does have two entries for Job Stanton - people it identifies as not descendants of Thomas. Maybe they will help you with yours.
