Charles Stanton and ? were married 1893 in Des Moines, <Polk>IA in 1853 they celebrated their 60 wedding anniversary in Hermosa,,CA Daughter Anna Belle (Mrs. Norris) gave the party. In attendance were her children; Pearl Norris (Mrs. Hyles) of Torrance and her two sons Eldred E. Norris of Hermosa and his four children Audna Norris (Mrs Reid) of L.A. and her son Beverly Norris (Mrs Tielens) of Hermosa and her three sons J.W. Stanton of Gardena and his son David Stanton Also Miss Catherine Eberman of L.A. was in attendance and signed the guest book; "I was there 3 Nov 1893" Are there any Stantons out there that are related to this family? Also I have an old Victoria Era Photo Album of folks(the clipping about the wedding was in it) from Des Moines, Adela, Ertham,Malcom areas of Iowa. The few that have names and dates are these; "Staten" March 15 and March 16 188?(Adel,,IA) Ettie Mark, St Joseph MO, For Ettie Mark, Savannah MO "Irene" Ashland,,OR Presented to his sister Nancy A. Stanton by her brother John Hruilteill or Thruilteill (old writing is hard to read)Picture taken in New Orleans but message says Julape, Mexico 1 Mar 1883 Etta? married a Stanton or else she was a Stanton and had Gordon, Theo and Gladys(b 1894 <Des Moines,,IA>)m "Gin" Davis Etta's family is supposed to be related to the Stantons in the photo album Gladys and her family had the photo album and a journal(lost)and brought it west to CA.
