Hi - Does anyone have any information on the Stantons in Louisville, Ky in the 1860s & 70s? Patrick and Bridget, their children Mary, Michael, Bridget, John & Austin, and Thomas and Margaret and their children Mary, Kate, John, Thomas and Robert? They were from Ireland & I think they might be related to my Indiana Stantons [Michael -maybe] and Mary, children Thomas, Mary Ann, Patrick, John, Michael & Austin. By the way, I found a wonderful book called "In Search of Missing Friends" - it's a collection of advertisements from the Boston Globe, people asking for information about...missing friends, and besides the name of the person they're looking for, they often supply the place they came from in Ireland, and the date they left. I've copied out the ones asking about Stantons from the 1st 3 volumes, and if anyone is interested, I will send them - Cheers Lee
