Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/jUJBAIB/105 Message Board Post: I wanted to recommend a site for you all. WWW.GenCircles.com The intire site is free!!!! you can post your trees ( & view other trees) in order for other researchers to contact you to exchange information.I'm not sure if how big the site is yet. but it can really do some amazing stuff. You should check it out. I've been playing around there for two days and have found out so much. One tip... The easy way is to upload a family file and in a few hour it does all the work for you and shows you matched individuals. so you can compare (side by side) your info verses another reseachers. I also tried their Family Tree Software for searching. and it's great for going threw thier site, but totaly not necessary. And is not a software program i would keep my family file in permanently But it's a nice back up. The will also keep a copy of your file on their server so if your is destored you can download it back from them. Hope you find it as helpful as I did Wendi

    3. Barb.. I have one book written about the Stallard Family. Name: The Stallard Connection, A Family History, Edited by Nancy Clark Baker, Gladys Julian Stallard and Margaret Russell Stallard. It was printed by Graphic Communications Corp. in Lawrenceville, Georgia 30245. I have no idea whether it can still be purchased or not. If you care to, you can Email me directly and I can possibly make copies for you of data on whom you are connected to. I am connected to the Stallard family through Stallard, Addington and Dingus. I don't have any other suggestions for you as to where to look for this book. I do have old addresses for 2 of the above ladies that you could try to contact. Let me know. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/jUJBAIB/98 Message Board Post: STALLARD, GERALD L. July 3, 1934 - December 30, 2003 Jerry passed away 12/30/03 peacefully with much of his family by his side. Jerry was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to the San Diego area in 1951. Jerry graduated from Chula Vista High School and received a business degree from San Diego State University in 1959. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Jerry was a sales entrepreneur and a manufacturers representative for more than 20 different companies dealing with knives, saws and cutting edge hand tools made for both home and industrial use. Twenty years ago he was stricken with Multiple Sclerosis. He was never one to complain about his debilitating disease that caused many degrees of physical impairedness; instead he found a way of making the best of it. He viewed his disease with philosophical obligations to over come what he could not change. He started a business called ``The Service Edge ' ' in which he became a knife and tool sharpening mobile ! service. Jerry could be found in the front of dozens of hardware stores all around the county. He was quickly dubbed with the name ``Dr Sharp ' ' . Several local newspapers ran stories about Dr. Sharp chronicling his ability to overcome a disease that could have easily sidelined the most productive person. The demand for his services became so large that he expanded the business by starting his retired brother Jim and three other retired entrepreneurs into their own mobile sharpening services. His love of dealing with the public, initiative and enthusiasm for service made him a very successful person. Before he was stricken with MS Jerry was an avid tennis player and enthusiast. He also coached Little League, Bobby Sox, and Basketball. He is also infamous among his family for fun and adventurous camping trips. Jerry was an avid sports fan and loved the Chargers and Padres. He was also known for his love of the horse races. Jerry is survived by his children, daughter Kimberl! ey, husband Rick Finger, three sons Timothy, wife Karen, Steven Rael, wife Carrie and Andrew Stallard, three brothers, George, Jim and Norm, numerous nieces and nephews and his former wives Mary Ellen Stallard and Irene Stallard-Rodriguez. He was the beloved grandfather of Carissa, Dylan, Jon, Christopher, Jordan and Zoe. Part of Jerry ' s family included his beloved support dog ``Bo ' ' . His parents Ewell and Irene, sister Darlene and son Daniel, preceded him in death. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 4th at 12:00 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park & Mortuary, Chapel of the Roses. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the San Diego Hospice at (619)688-1600.Please sign the guest book at obituaries.uniontrib.com Published in the San Diego Union-Tribune on 1/3/2004.
