Thank you Eric and Denise for the pointers and the information. Another Lister, John, was able to send me the information I needed, too, but my response to the List didn't arrive. I hope this does. My apologies, Peter, for the confusion you found. I could have been clearer if I'd said that William & Sarah WATTS and their family of 7 children arrived in Biddulph 'from Bollington where a further 4 children were born.' Eleven children in total were born to this couple. I did name the children born in Biddulph and also gave the name of their second child (born in Bollington), Martha Pierpoint WATTS, who was 20 years old, not two, when she married William STONIER. And thank you, yes, I do have all the evidence from BMDs and Censuses for the family thereafter, plus - and I'm lucky in this particular line of research - from a number of other sources too. Ruth
